Available in 12v 300Ah capacity, the Enerdrive B-TEC G2 lithium battery is designed and intended for use in deep cycle applications where a single battery is required that meets the amp hour capacity.

Battery Management System

The battery is also equipped with an internal Battery Management System that can monitor and optimise each Prismatic cell within the battery during normal operation. It will protect the battery pack from over charge, over discharge, over temperature & short circuit. The BMS helps to ensure safe and accurate operation of the battery. Please note that a fully discharged battery (BMS is off) requires charging within 14 days to avoid cell damage.

The Enerdrive B-TEC G2 battery provides 60% more usable power than its equivalent lead acid cousin and being nearly 50% lighter and 30% smaller makes for a superior alternative.

The G2 now incorporates a “Built-In Reset Button” making re-starting a flat battery a breeze. No longer do you need to apply a voltage to the battery terminals to wake up the battery. Please Note; The G2 battery is capable to be paralleled to a second G2 battery. For maximum performance and lifespan of your G2 battery, no more than 4 batteries should be connected together to increase your overall capacity. Overall loads when paralleled should not exceed the current limits of a single battery’s BMS.

The G2 300Ah battery is able to accept a maximum inverter capacity of 3000W only. Exceeding the maximum inverter capacity can damage the BMS Management within the battery.

If you are requiring a battery system larger than the Enerdrive B-TEC G2 battery, please look at the Enerdrive Pro Series Power Pack Systems which can offer multiple parallel and series connections with Active Cell Balancing Protection across the entire pack.

Please note B-TEC batteries must not be installed –
• In vehicle engine bays or in high heat environments, refer to Section 10 – Battery Specifications of the manual.
• In wet areas such as caravan chassis mounts, open ute trays or boat deck areas.
• Inside compartments dedicated to carrying gas.

Charge Cycles Disclaimer:

The information provided regarding the life cycles of Enerdrive | Dometic lithium batteries is based on laboratory testing conducted under controlled conditions. These tests were carried out at a consistent temperature of 25°C, with discharge and charge rates set at 1C (1 x Capacity of battery).

Under these specific conditions, it has been calculated that our lithium batteries can achieve over 2500 cycles with approximately 80% of original capacity remaining. However, it’s essential to note that actual performance may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to, installation environment, temperature fluctuations, and variations in discharge and charge rates.

It is recommended to avoid excessive discharges and charge cycles and to maintain a discharge and charge rate around 0.5C (0.5 x Capacity of battery) for optimal battery longevity. Doing so may result in a significantly higher cycle count.

Please be aware that the numbers provided are based on cell-level testing and may not directly reflect the performance of your specific battery installation. As such, we advise users to consider their individual circumstances when assessing the expected lifespan of their batteries.

Even in the scenario of reaching 2500 cycles, it’s important to understand that the lifespan of the batteries can extend beyond this figure. For instance, if batteries were fully discharged daily, a lifespan of over 6.8 years could still be expected. If you don’t normally take the battery under normal use below 30% SOC, then you could find that the battery will continue to meet your needs for many cycles to come.
